Workshops
The Centre’s main educational programme is delivered via workshops conducted in local venues and involving up to 25 participants. Smaller numbers in attendance mean that participants are able to interact with the facilitator and with other colleagues. Workshops use a person-centred approach to dementia care and are directed at several different client groups, including:
A special event hosted by Bath University showcasing a wide range of work relating to telecare, telemedicine, smart home technologies, technology-assisted rehabilitation and other areas.

A joint event organised by the London Centre for Dementia Care and the EVIDEM team to showcase good practice and research in London.
Jointly presented with EVIDEM, a national programme of dementia research lead by Professor Steve Iliffe at UCL, the Conference includes sessions by some of the UK's leading researchers in the field of dementia care.

An international workshop which aims to provide a forum for discussion and dissemination of the latest and most exciting findings in senescence research, covering the impact of senescence in organisms and organs through to molecular mechanism, and possible interventions and therapies. World-renowned researchers, including a selection of the SPARC award holders, will be speaking in an informal relaxed environment; the meeting also offers plenty of off-timetable opportunities for networking.
Fresh from a gathering of the world's most respected ageing researchers at Oriel College Oxford, Dr Richard Faragher, SPARC Director and an advisor to Research into Ageing, the biomedical arm of Help the Aged will take time out to explain just what their findings mean for today's older people and what they could mean for those who will be older in the future.
